Dr. Jodi Jakiel, DC, DACBSP®, MS

Very few people inspire hope and live by example like Dr. Jodi Jakiel. In 2008, after graduating from Life College in Marietta, Georgia she returned to Florida to continue her ten-year health care career as a chiropractor. Her mission was to change the face of healthcare through educating patients on the healing power they have within themselves and to return their hope of achieving goals they never thought possible. In 2010, she opened Active Living Medical Center in southeast Orlando.

Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. Passionate about sports and the musculoskeletal system, she acquired her Diplomate in Sports Medicine, a degree only 300 other doctors hold in the United States. As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, she has expertise in athletic injuries with an emphasis on correcting and preventing musculoskeletal and connective tissue injuries and biomechanical imbalances. Her extensive clinical experience and ongoing active participation in sports give her a unique approach to treating athletes. Following her dreams, she became a participating Doctor for Olympic hopefuls working with the USA Beach Volleyball Team, Ask her sometime about her time in Espinho Spain.
